SOLSTICE 2014
Summer Solstice here in the North means Winter Solstice there in the Southern Hemisphere. I have always loved this symmetry of the seasons, of the light, of the passing of time. It is a perfect day here on Mystery Bay, the sun is sparkling on the water, the breeze is shifting thru the alders and the firs, and the bald eagles are singing their way up and down the shore. It is nearly time for me to meander my way to the shore and soak up the rays of summer which seems so short a season here in Washington State, so short that we simply must make the most of it while we can.
